Just got back from Camy's office (Iris' doctor). Iris gained 5 ounces and is now 19 lbs 3 ounces. Not as much as Camy and I were hoping, but still okay. Camy said that that is definitly more than other 16 months old gain in 3 weeks and that Iris is very active. She is no longer as concerned so we are not doing any lab work (work up for metabolic conditions) but still want to watch her and Jeremy and I need to continue making sure Iris is eating a full fat well balanced diet.
As Jeremy pointed out, 5 ounces in 3 weeks is alot better then 3 ounces in 8 weeks (which is what her weight gain was at her 15 mo well child check).
Better get back to work!
